I have been to countless consultations with some of the best in the business but no one has made me feel more sure of myself than Julie. She really took the time to understand exactly what my expectations were. We just fully connected and I felt comfortable and sure of my choice to have her as my surgeon. I have always been nervous to have tip work done because it is so tricky but she absolutely nailed it and brought the width of my bridge in while also straightening my nose. Dr Julie Shtraks has been an absolutely phenomenal provider to work with. I saw Dr Shtraks for a difficult rhinoplasty revision this year and the results are already worlds above my highest hopes. She takes more time with me than any surgeon previously has, and is very respectful of my anxieties and concerns. The consult was more comprehensive and informative than any other (I saw many surgeons for consults after my disastrous primary surgery), and every appointment since has been a dream. She has been incredibly accommodating with my time and schedule, as I am an out-of-towner who needs a bit of flexibility. If you’ve been wanting a rhinoplasty Dr. Shtraks is the surgeon to trust. I’ve wanted a nose job my entire life, my nose has always been my biggest insecurity. I avoided photos being taken from the side because I hated my profile so much. The bump on my bridge and the slopped tip pointing downward did not feel or look feminine to me. I’ve done a lot of research and when I found Dr. Shtraks on Instagram I knew her results were exactly what I was looking for. Her before and after photos convinced me I need to book with her and once I saw the results she achieved for other patients I knew I could trust that she would deliver the same results to my nose. I’ve never been happier now, I gained a confidence in my appearance that I never thought would be possible. After avoiding photos of my side profile all my life, suddenly those are the only photos I want to take now. The recovery process was not painful in my experience. She doesn’t do any packing inside after surgery which I heard hurts a lot. I had little to no bruising, just slight yellow bruising on my nose bridge.
